Shelton’s Turkey Jerky

A little salt and spice can make everything nice! Using free-range poultry and all natural ingredients Shelton’s lives up to our expectations. They combine thinly sliced turkey with tamari soy sauce, onion powder and garlic powder which results in a savory treat worthy of the 100 calories per serving. Most jerky packs in tons of sodium but this variety keeps it under 300 milligrams. Combine that with the almost 20 grams of protein per ounce and you’ve got yourself the total snack package.

Planning a big night out with friends? Indulge in an ounce before you leave the house and you’ll be less likely to devour the bread basket upon arrival at dinner. Or keep this snack handy on a road trip. Turkey jerky can take longer to eat than your typical convenience snack and helps pass the time while avoiding the drive-thru.

Not a jerky person but tried this with friends and we all liked it. We all also said it tasted like Pastrami. Which for me is great since I gave up eating dead cow and miss Pastrami. This will be great for hikes and long road trips :)

My boyfriend is the pickiest healthy food eater. I actually tricked him into trying the Turkey Jerkey and he absolutely loved it! He loved it so much that night we ordered it online. Thank you Bestowed for introducing a new household staple!
