In February we start to see the light at the end of tunnel as winter is slowly but surely coming to an end. This signals a lot of people to pay more attention to their eating habits and getting their bodies into spring/summer shape. The best way to go about this is to approach the process with self-love. Here are my three tips on how to do just that.
Have patience with the process: It’s a process, it’s a process, it’s a process. Remember, change takes time! If you are starting to buckle down on eating, there may be some cravings you can’t fight right away. It’s ok to give in sometimes, keep going and keep your eye on the prize.
Take a pit-stop in self praise: We can be too hard on ourselves for a million things, make sure to praise yourself for accomplishments along the way - small and big.
If you have to force it, don’t do it: From our taste buds to our bodies, everyone is different. This means their is no one size fits all approach to the healthiest way of living or eating for anyone, if you feel you are forcing something and it’s making you miserable, don’t do it!
