During summer, we primarily focus on what we need to eliminate from our diets rather than what to incorporate to make us feel and look our best. This usually deters us from stepping back to take in the panoramic view- “what kind of lifestyle should I lead to ensure a long, healthful life?” A recent article in Healthland TIME reminds us of the four crucial habits associated with the bigger picture: not smoking, drinking alcohol moderately, exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet. While this may seem obvious, it’s always easier said than done. And sometimes, we need a little reminder to zoom out of the short-term lens and focus on the end goal. So Eat Well, Move Often, Don’t Smoke, Drink a Little- and Live Long.
Simple as that.
